Bruce won the overall all 5 years the contest was in existence
Hi Chris, I hope you can read this article. Its the contest results for the 3rd annual International Surf Festival in Hermosa Beach, the year must be 1966. Bruce won the overall all 5 years the contest was in existence. They got my age wrong in this article, I had to be 16 not 14. Bruce is about a year and a half younger then me. 2 of the other skaters in the article Biff Collins, and John Guild were on our South Bay Skateboard Club. Bruce was so far a head of his time during this era. I want you to maybe post it on the front page of our site, if you can read it that is, then I will tell everyone how cool of a guy you are ;) P.S. I am thrilled about this find. Also check out the pic. I just posted of Bruce in 1962-63 now I am finding a little bit of very early stuff!.
